The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Job Description HVAC Technician**As an HVAC technician, your role revolves around installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in various settings.

  • Installing HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioning units, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment, following blueprints, design specifications, and local building codes.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, inspecting ductwork, lubricating moving parts, and testing system performance to ensure optimal efficiency and longevity.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system malfunctions, identifying faulty components, and repairing or replacing parts as needed to restore functionality and efficiency.
  • Handling refrigerants safely and responsibly, following EPA regulations for refrigerant recovery, recycling, and disposal.
  • Conducting tests and performance checks on HVAC systems to verify proper operation, airflow, temperature control, and humidity levels.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a vocational school program, apprenticeship, or HVAC certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with handson experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. Experience with different types of HVAC equipment and controls is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, electrical circuits, refrigeration principles, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and climbing ladders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to diagnose HVAC system issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
  • Thorough attention to detail in performing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.
