The Maintenance Assistant performs facilities, general maintenance, and repairs of offices, accommodations, and other designated locations, while keeping facilities clean and in good condition.

Performs minor electrical repairs, as well as basic plumbing and carpentry.

• Oversees the work of contracted vendors as required.
• Prepares accurate repair and cleaning reports.
• Troubleshoots repairs and replaces any equipment as needed.
• Uses power tools and various maintenance tools to fix wiring, piping, cabinetry and to

perform work-related assignments.

• Changes filters on heating, ventilating and air conditioning units, services appliances,

kitchen and emergency equipment; hooks up appliances.

• Assists in performing inspection, operation and maintenance of heating, cooling,

ventilation and boiler systems.

• Performs other related duties assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical education.
• Minimum 2 3 years relevant Work experience.
• Must have a Valid Qatar Driver's License.
