Zentech Health has an excitingopportunity for Medical Assistant at excellent Pain Managementoffice in the Greater Tampa Bay area in Westchase. This is a Parttime position Mon - Wed 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.No Felony arrests or medication/drugcharges. Pay range depends on experience$15-18/hour. 2 years medical office experience required.

• Greetingpatients and visitors in person or on the telephone, schedulingappointments, and maintaining records andaccounts.
  
• Keepspatient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patientsarrival
  
• Ensuresavailability of treatment information by filing and retrievingpatientrecords.
  
• Maintainspatient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal andfinancialinformation.
  
• Obtainsrevenue by recording and updating financial information, recordingand collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended topatients, andfiling.
  
• Maintainsbusiness office inventory and equipment by checking stock todetermine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placingand expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies,and scheduling equipment service andrepairs.
  
• Protectspatients rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical,personal, and financialinformation.
  
• Maintainsoperations by following policies and procedures, reporting neededchanges.
  
• Contributesto team effort by accomplishing related results asneeded.
  
• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vitalsigns, including weight and blood pressure, and document allinformation in the patients chart.
  
• Ensureall related reports, labs and information is filled out andavailable in patients medical records prior to theirappointment
  
• Preparestreatment rooms for patient examinations; Assist physician andphysician assistant in examrooms
  
• Disinfects,cleans treatment rooms following patient examinations; Maintainssafe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing andfollowing standards and procedures; complying with legalregulations
  
• Keepexam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintaininstruments, prepare sterilization as required; Properly disposesof contaminatedsupplies
