Job Overview:


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor with expertise in welding for our Fabrication Yard working on offshore modules.

If you have a strong background in welding and fabrication within the oil and gas sector, this is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic team.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Provide expert guidance and technical support to welding operations within the fabrication yard, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
  • Oversee welding activities, including welding procedures, equipment selection, consumable choices, and quality control measures.
  • Develop and implement welding programs and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with welding specifications and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor welding personnel, ensuring their proficiency in welding techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with client representatives and external stakeholders to address weldingrelated queries and provide technical guidance.

Essential Qualifications and Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Extensive experience in welding and fabrication, specifically in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on offshore modules.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes related to welding, such as ASME, AWS, API, and NACE.
  • Proven track record of successful project execution with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CWI or CSWIP) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex welding issues, develop innovative solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in the use of welding software, computeraided design (CAD) tools, and other relevant technical software.
