• Using devices such as computertomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)machines.
• Performing or directing radiologystaff to carry out image-guided, diagnosticprocedures.
• Working with radiology labtechnicians to perfect imagequality.
• Interpreting the results fromdiagnostic imaging procedures to determinediagnoses.
• Communicating and discussing resultsand diagnoses with physicians.
• Compilingwritten reports of results anddiagnoses.
• Following medical protocols forresuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations,when necessary.
