Duties andResponsibilities:

• Obtain work package from ready towork rack, as delivered to work station, or assigned by teamleader, supervisor, or run previously set-up job by reviewingtie-in from prior operator.
• Review Work Order(W/O) and Production Order number (P/O) to determine requirementsof work to be performed. Ensure that the correct type and quantityof parts/material were issued and that prior operations arecomplete.
• Obtain and review appropriatedrawings, Boeing (BAC) specifications and any other necessarydocuments to perform the job. Use on-line information systems, asrequired.
• Check machine set-up and/or partscompleted by previous operator to determine progress on a job perprior shift tie-in and ensure safe working conditions, as required.Select machine accessories and holding devises (e.g., ram heads,riser stands, blocks, clamps, shims). Verify that apparatus is ingood condition. Identify shop aids and/or holding fixtures to beused, as required.
