As the Bid Specialist, you will be responsible for compiling and submitting a complete technical and commercial bid to an existing or prospective project in line with FM Hard and Soft services requirement on time and within budget.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Write/compile proposals using the input obtained from all sources in a concise, logical and responsive fashion while ensuring that the information provided complies with the specifications.
  • Analyse the requirements of an RFI, RFP, or RFQ and decide what information needs to be included in the proposal.
  • Conduct any additional research required to develop the responses (e.g. site visits).
  • Disseminate proposals to clients by required deadlines; provide necessary copies to Field Offices or Business Development.
  • Coordinate and submit follow up responses throughout the bid process.
  • Assist the Bid Manager in the preparation of various bidding documents such as reports, graphs, business case and presentations.
  • Update the CRM database for managing interactions with customers, clients and sales prospects.
  • Manage the bid calendar defining timeline and responsibilities among the company.
  • Manage the bid qualification process to get the best technical score.
  • Be aware, find out and inform about the incumbents and competition.
  • Control and measure the quality, risk, KPI and cost effectiveness of each bid.
  • Propose technical and commercial initiatives for value added to the client and cost savings.
  • Supervise and coordinate thirdparty quotations in line with the procurement department.
  • Oversee the entire bidding process, from PQQ, technical development and commercial set up.
  • Other duties as assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management.
