Responsiblity:

• Visitingnumerous residential and commercial locations, on a daily basis, tocollect solid and liquid waste either by manually collecting thegarbage or using an automated garbage-disposaltruck.
• Transporting and disposing of garbage ina safe, effective, and environmentally friendly manner, at a cityor state-approved dump site.
• Ensuringrecyclables such as glass, paper, and plastic are properlyseparated from other types of garbage for effectiverecycling.
• Operating an automatedgarbage-disposal truck to lift garbage dumpsters and trash cans,when necessary.
• Crushing or burning garbage, ina controlled environment, whennecessary.
• Collecting pieces of furniture orlarge electronic devices, by appointment, or from the roadside, foreffective disposal.
• Clearing debris fromroadways to ensure a safe and cleanenvironment.
• Maintaining the garbage-disposaltruck by performing routine maintenance, such as checking tirepressure, topping off fluids, and inspecting mechanical parts forunusual wear and tear.
• Scheduling weeklygarbage pick-ups for residential and commerciallocations.
