Your day-to-day

• Supervise the main / outlet kitchen in the preparationand presentation of all food items in accordance with thehotel's SOPs and standardized menu guidelines
• Monitor regular standards of production to ensure the highest levelof quality
• Monitor all aspects pertaining to the controlof the hotel's food cost
• Participate in thedrafting of concept ideas and menus for all special events andfunctions while encouraging all employees to put forward theirideas and utilize them wherever practical
• Ensure HACCPstandards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygienestandards as per Municipality requirements at all times

• Minimum2 years experience similar position in a Cold Kitchen in a 5-starhotel.
• Educated to a degree level.
• Strongunderstanding/experience of Hotel Operations in a multiculturalenvironment.
• Self-starter, with the ability tounderstand the business and link them to the department agenda.
• High level of drive for results; adaptable and flexiblewith the ability to build relationships.
