    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinating patients home visit and managing their careplans.
    • Conducting physical examinations, assessments orprocedures to diagnose patients
    • Maintaining accuratemedical records for all patients
    • Making recommendationsfor lifestyle changes to improve the patients' quality oflife
    • Prescribing medication, treatment or therapy topatients
    • Explaining test results and medical proceduresto patients
    • Training Nurses and other healthcareprofessionals as required
    • Consulting with other Doctorsabout the specialized needs of some patients
    • Testing formuscle weakness, bedsores, and any signs of infection.
    • Educating caregivers/nurses on the aftercare or ongoing care of thepatient.
    • Providing suggestions for improved healthcareto family members of the patient.
    • Monitoring patientrecovery and compiling reports.
    • Keeping abreast ofdevelopments in healthcare and attending workshops and lectures asrequired.
    • Collaborating with other healthcareprofessionals to develop improved diets and healthcare plans forpatients.
