Purpose:
Responsible for the overall management including logistics function of carpentry.


Areas of responsibility:


  • Manage and lead the

Carpentry Team:

Planning of the resources needed (timing and abseentism management) establish the way of working (definition of OPLs, procedure, standards).

To motivate the team and ensure that all safety rules and regulations are being followed.


Forklift Fleet Management

  • Establish PM Schedule of Forklift based on running hours
  • Do spare parts management
  • Ensure that checklist and first level maintenance on all forklift are being implemented.

Procurement Management

  • Establish order of consumables based on previous consumption and in reference also to current production.
  • Check critical consumables material and manage supplier alerts on regular basis.

Application of Standards

  • Ensure that all standard are being applied on his perimeter.
  • Propose realistic and feasible solution to correct deviation.
  • Ensures the reliability of data recorded on Navision if any.
  • Material Reciept: Check quantity and damages ( if any and prepare incident report)
  • Continuous Improvement: Formalize and share improvements suggestion on his perimeter.

Teamwork

  • Coordinate with Production for drum requirement of the plant on day to day basis
  • Coordinate with Maintenance for repair of Forklift if any.
  • Coordinate with Raw Material Planning Engineer for drum weekly plan
  • Coordinate with Purchasing for timely delivery of consumables and forklift spare parts.

Inventory Management

  • Cycle counting of inventory through planning and follow up.
  • Ensures that drums are always available in production to avoid related loss time risk,
  • Visit Site to inspect drums if required
  • Attend SQDCE Department Level,

Required skills and qualifications:


  • Must have a minimum of 5 years (People Management experience.)
  • BS Logistics and or Supply Chain Management
  • Have good command responsibilities
  • Good in written and oral reporting.
  • Have knowledge of Logistics functions, forklift maintenance and basic excel.
  • Good moral character
  • Language: Must speak Fluent in English
  • Teamwork skills

Salary:
QAR5,000.00 per month
