- Coordinate the implementation of risk management processes within the ROMD in alignment with PWA ERM PPP, including coordination of risk identification and assessment activities within the Affair
- Provide Department Risk and Treatment briefs for the Department Management
- Maintain the Department Risk and Treatment Register
- Share the Affairs Risk and Treatment Register with the PTO (President's Technical Officer) ERM Team and brief them on key changes
- When relevant, coordinate Department level treatments for risks
- Perform risk and treatment evaluation and analysis, as requested
- Build knowledge and awareness of ERM PPP within Department
- Prepare and attend the Risk ROMD internal meetings and attend the meetings organized by PTO to present the ROMD risk register
- Prepare the AA Risk Management Plan and AA Business Continuity Management Plan
- Carry out different tasks regarding the Business Process Management (BPM) project in AA ROMD using the Corporate IBM Blue Works IT Tool, to drive short and long-term business improvements and identify key strategic initiatives
- Contribute to the modification of the current ROMD Business Processes
- Coordinate the training about IBM Blue Works for ROMD staff with Team Leader
- Adhere to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures within the workplace and comply to any new work instructions
- Perform other duties/tasks as required
- Bachelor Degree or higher level qualification in Engineering in a relevant subject/Quantity Surveying
- Holder of Accreditation from the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) or similar would be an advantage
- Had conducted risk analysis at project and cooperate level is preferred
- Holder of current/valid Qatar Driving License
- Minimum of 10 years' work experience in a similar position
- Proven experience as a Risk Manager
- Proven experience in conducting risk analysis at project and cooperate level
- Knowledge and experience of risk assessment and control
- Experience with auditing and reporting procedures
- Familiarity with industry compliance standards and regulations (e.g. Occupational Safety and Health Act)
- Strong computer and research skills; knowledge of analysis software is preferred (e.g. Statistical Analysis Software, or SAS)
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- BSc/BA/MSC in Law, Business, Finance, contract law or a related field
- Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and in particular Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is essential
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic is preferred
