Job Description:

Identifying and analyzing various risks (e.g. business, financial)

Understand the Road Operation and Management Department scope, tasks and target

Responsible for the implementation of Roads Operation and Maintenance Department (ROMD) Risk Management Plan in alignment with the PWA Enterprise Risk Management Policy, Process and Procedure. Act as a catalyst to effective Risk Management activities.

Your Tasks:

1. Coordinate the implementation of risk management processes within the ROMD in alignment with PWA ERM PPP, including coordination of risk identification and assessment activities within the Affair
2. Provide Department Risk and Treatment briefs for the Department Management
3. Maintain the Department Risk and Treatment Register
4. Share the Affairs Risk and Treatment Register with the PTO (President's Technical Officer) ERM Team and brief them on key changes
5. When relevant, coordinate Department level treatments for risks
6. Perform risk and treatment evaluation and analysis, as requested
7. Build knowledge and awareness of ERM PPP within Department
8. Prepare and attend the Risk ROMD internal meetings and attend the meetings organized by PTO to present the ROMD risk register
9. Prepare the AA Risk Management Plan and AA Business Continuity Management Plan
10. Carry out different tasks regarding the Business Process Management (BPM) project in AA ROMD using the Corporate IBM Blue Works IT Tool, to drive short and long-term business improvements and identify key strategic initiatives
11. Contribute to the modification of the current ROMD Business Processes
12. Coordinate the training about IBM Blue Works for ROMD staff with Team Leader
13. Adhere to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures within the workplace and comply to any new work instructions
14. Perform other duties/tasks as required

Your Profile:

• Bachelor Degree or higher level qualification in Engineering in a relevant subject/Quantity Surveying
• Holder of Accreditation from the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) or similar would be an advantage
• Had conducted risk analysis at project and cooperate level is preferred
• Holder of current/valid Qatar Driving License
• Minimum of 10 years' work experience in a similar position
• Proven experience as a Risk Manager
• Proven experience in conducting risk analysis at project and cooperate level
• Knowledge and experience of risk assessment and control
• Experience with auditing and reporting procedures
• Familiarity with industry compliance standards and regulations (e.g. Occupational Safety and Health Act)
• Strong computer and research skills; knowledge of analysis software is preferred (e.g. Statistical Analysis Software, or SAS)
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• BSc/BA/MSC in Law, Business, Finance, contract law or a related field
• Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and in particular Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is essential
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic is preferred

Salary: Monthly Rate in QAR

Work Schedule: 8 Hours / 5 Days

Duration: 4 years with possible extension
