Candidates should be committed to excellencein teaching. Candidates must have a PhD degree in PhysicalGeography. The topical areas of interest are broad and includegeomorphology, climatology, hydrology and biogeography, amongothers.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a trackrecord of excellent publication and possess the potential andwillingness to collaborate with faculty within and acrossdepartmental divisions.

Priority will be given to candidates whofluent in both Arabic and English.


Duties &Responsibilities:
1. To teach a range of Physical Geography courses2. Supervising students at Physical Geography labs. 3. Assist andcollaborate with course instructors as assigned by Department Head4. Contribute to the development of new Physical Geographycourses/programs/research centers. 5. Assist Department Head invarious tasks as assigned. 6. Monitor the academic performance ofundergraduate students.


Competencies:
1. Specialized in PhysicalGeography courses, and solid knowledge in related discipline at theunder graduate level. 2. Experience in teaching at theundergraduate level. 3. Expertise in using course management systemsuch as Blackboard 4.

Proficiency in both Arabic Language andEnglish Qualifications Qualifications: 1. The candidate should holda PhD degree in Physical Geography courses at an internationallyrecognized university. 2. Experience in teaching a wide range ofcourses in Physical Geography courses and related disciplines. 3.Competency and involvement in research. 4. Fluency in ArabicLanguage. 5. Fluency in English language.
