  • If so, you are the right person for this role. We're seeking passionate technology professionals to join our development team in WMPC IT (Wealth Management Personal Corporate).
  • We are looking someone who can:
  • implement and deliver high quality software solutions / components for the Wealth Management platform that conform to architectural standards.
- manage and 'own' significant development tasks end-to-end.
- demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs.


Your team

  • You'll be part of the global WMPC Technology IT team that is responsible for providing the systems needed by Wealth Management Client Advisors (CA's) to provide their decisions related to client credit requests and providing systems needed by CA's and Credit Risk Control (CRC) personnel to manage Credit Risk exposure of its global Front Office functions. We ensure the Bank is compliant to various regulatory requirements. The role will be based out of Doha, Qatar.

Your expertise
- ideally 4+ years of hands-on development experience using core Java, spring framework and relational databases like Oracle, Postgres.
- excellent understanding of Core Java and database concepts and understanding of Spring Frameworks (MVC, AOP, BOOT) & Hibernate
- hands-on experience in Webservices is a must with Azure cloud or equivalent
- good knowledge of UNIX (added advantage), including shell scripts, code packaging and deployment, CI/CD.
- knowledge of Kafka & React JS will be an added advantage
- knowledge of Tomcat and Maven will be an added advantage
- experience of working in global teams developing high-performance, large-scale systems.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work as part of a global team.
- knowledge about object-oriented concepts and design.
- have been part of Agile Scrum teams
