As an Airworthiness Manager, you are responsible for continued airworthiness of Qatar Executive Fleet' aircrafts and are tasked to set up efficient control measures to fulfil regulatory requirements and maintain aircrafts in accordance with the approved maintenance program as well as engineering recommendations.


Other key responsibilities are:

  • Develop process and procedures to ensure compliance with the company procedures relevant to Qatar Executive CAMO Section
  • Establish and manage implementation of appropriate control measures/key performance indicators related to CAMO.
  • Responsible for project maintenance growth requirements due to fleet expansion and coordinate with Senior Management for appropriate strategic measures
  • Ensure effective development, audit and control of Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) in line with regulatory requirements, manufacturer's recommendations and inservice experience.
  • Ensure effective control of all Hard Time components and Life Limited parts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement plan of Qatar Executive fleet by continuous development, evolution and timely scheduling of maintenance requirements in a costeffective manner.
  • Evaluate and participate as member of technical/commercial evaluations of technical contracts.
  • Negotiate maintenance contracts for the outsourced maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with IOC and sales to maximize A/C availability and minimize the delays in order to contribute to reach CAMO KPls and overall company objectives.
  • Develop and document the internal organization for procedures and structures of subordinate staff.
  • Ensure a feedback reporting system is established, managed and maintained to report noncompliance matters to applicable personnel and senior management.
  • Develop and implement solutions for various technical problems related to QE Fleet.
  • Establish the department or teams' objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. Regularly evaluate the department or teams' objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and make appropriate changes if needed.
  • Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Qatar Executive Team.

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of jobrelated experience
  • Experience in private business jet operation
  • Sound experience in civil aviation regulation and Part CAMO requirements
  • Excellent knowledge on aircraft system preferably on Gulfstream and Bombardier fleet types
  • Strong project management skills
