Coordinates and facilitates delivery of patient andfamily care within a multidisciplinary framework primarily in aninpatient care setting as part of the Neonatal Program at Sidra toensure a patient/family focused and service orientated environmentthat is in accordance with Evidenced Based and Best Practicestandards.
Under the supervision of the AttendingPhysician - Neonatology, assesses and identifies the health needsof the specialized Neonatal/ Perinatal population and plans,implements, and evaluates interventions appropriate to meet thoseneeds which are appropriate to the scope of the NICU and Perinatalprogram and in accordance to organizational standards andaccreditation requirements.
Collaborates withmultidisciplinary health care team to devise treatment plans basedon patient/ family needs to ensure the delivery of high quality andevidence-based services that are sufficient efficient andresponsive, and designed to meet the identified patient/family careneeds and organizational outcomes.
Contributes toensuring that clinical practices within the Division of Neonatologyare in compliance with all applicable standards and requirements ofthe Joint Commission International, Ministry of Public Health, andall other applicable regulatory bodies
