    Project / Program ManagerQualification:
    Science / Engineering graduateResponsibility :StakeholderManagement

    • Responsible for liaising between project teamsacross locations and the Customer.
    • ServiceManagement.
    • Participate and provide inputs for releaseplanning.
    • Act as the Cognizant Delivery team point ofcontact for the portfolio.
    • Support Service Management /process related activities performed by the SMO with relevantdelivery data.
    • Responsible for end to end services forthe application cluster / portfolio being managed.
    • Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams as necessary duringproject delivery, including daily connect calls.
    • ServiceTracking.
    • Ensure adherence to SOW requirements includingclient security and compliance needs.
    • Follow up withinternal and external stakeholders (Customer and Vendor liaison) toprogress tickets to resolution.
    • Ensure adherence todefined processes (like creating problem records, performing timelyRCA's, creating knowledge articles maintaining applicationdocumentation etc).
    • Prepare performance dash boards& management reports.
    • Ensure schedule adherencefor release requests and notify stakeholders in case ofdeviations.
    • Service Execution.
    • Conduct periodicdata analysis, perform RCA for any targets missed and customerescalations.
    • Report the findings to the ServiceManager.
    • Implement all Corrective and Preventiveactions.
    • Deploy process as defined in the processhandbook.
    • Prepare release notes and ensure applicationdocuments are updated to reflect the changes made.
    • Knowledge Management.
    • Liaise with Academy for projectlevel training needs and ensure training plans are made availablebased on skillset needs.
    • RequirementsGathering.
    • Participate in requirement gathering JADsessions and support documentation where applicable (business,functional, UI, usability, data, compliance, data migration, NFR,3rd party tools & products).
    • Raise clarificationswith customer / onsite to eliminate any ambiguity on the scope ofwork assigned from the Client / Project Cocoordinator.
    • track to closure any open clarifications with customer /onsite.

    • Resource/ Efforts Estimation andMonitoring.
    • Provide input on technical effort estimationto arrive at resourcing plans.

    • Develop proof of concept as designed by architect.

    • break up themodules considering technical aspects.
    • Understandinterdependencies of the various components in work packages thatare being developed.
    • Create design documents with thesupport of the architects for the assigned scope.
    • Workwith architect to understand the architecture of the application,high level approaches and ensure that the design is in line withoverall direction.

    • Organize design review sessions with variousstakeholders to validate design is as per requirements.
    • Coding.
    • Identify the standards applicable for the workpackages / components.
    • Familiarize the team withdevelopment environment and CTS and customer specific codingstandards, guidelines and best practices to be followed throughsessions and document sharing.
    • Review the code created byteam and provide review comments to the developers.
    • develop code for core / critical module(s) needed for theproject.
    • Contribute towards development offramework.
    • Develop/ review tier coding, business layercoding, interface development, service development, creation ofstored procedures etc as applicable for the work package /project.
    • Write efficient queries and understand logicaland physical data models.
    • follow up with Developers toensure integration of components (input / output).
    • troubleshoot critical technical issues.
    • Handleescalations related to critical technical issues.
    • createdetailed tasks for the scope and share timelines for the same withthe team.
    • track the status of the tasks assigned,maintain detailed task information for the work packages owned anddo periodic reporting.
    • conduct technical review andaudit.
    • Create quality check points for alldeliverables.
    • estimate at task level in the area of workconcerned, measure and report the actual effort against theestimated effort and ensure task progress reporting in C20 or anyother applicable tool.
    • Prepare and report status for thescope responsible.
    • conduct peer reviews in coding andtesting phase.
    • Defect Management.
    • Createtraining plan for team as identified in the training plan for theproject.
    • Plan and participate in innovationsessions.
    • identify and implement innovative processes toreduce manual intervention and improve productivity based ontechnology and domain expertise.
    • Understand how toperform app portfolio analysis in an agile way.
    • Architectand design the platform components (Eg security, logging,authentication, cashing, etc).
    • Guide team on multicloudplatform (Leveraging all core infrastructure components.
    • Eg cloud foundry implementation, API gateway setup, buildingmicroservices marketplace).
    • how to evolve monolithic appsto be service oriented (ie understand when and how to break outMicroservices from the monolith).
    • Develop tier coding,business layer coding, interface development, service development,creation of stored procedures, etc as applicable for the workpackage / project.
    • Design and develop DevOpsenvironment.
    • Review and mentor codingactivities.
    • Help team realize containerizationstrategies.
    • Define and implement designguidelines.
