• Support the development of OHSpolicies and programs
• Advise and instruct onvarious safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machineryetc.)
• Conduct risk assessment and enforcepreventative measures
• Review existing policiesand measures and update according tolegislation
• Initiate and organize OHS trainingof employees and executives
• Inspect premisesand the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity(e.g. not using protective equipment)
• Overseeinstallations, maintenance, disposal of substancesetc.
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes thatseem dangerous or unhealthy
• Record andinvestigate incidents to determine causes and handleworker's compensation claims
• Preparereports on occurrences and provide statistical information to uppermanagement
