• The Senior Business DevelopmentSpecialist will be responsible for leading analysis andrelationship building with several newclients.
• Responsible for identifying,understanding and developing new partner organizations tocollaborate with IDG's technical divisions. Responsiblefor keeping potential partners and key contacts'warm' and pro-actively sharing contacts withothers at RTI.
• Responsible for understandingand evaluating competitor activities and trends, and communicatingbusiness development intelligence gathered to staff in a timely andopen manner.
• Supervise market intelligenceanalyses produced by BSC for IDG's technical divisions.This will include managing several colleagues' activitieson these tasks and ensuring quality, timelines, distribution, andappropriate vetting of the analyses.
• Supportbusiness development trend forecasting in key markets, as required.This includes, but is not limited to, synthesizing intel in keysystems and key staff.
• Perform communicationsnetworking in the DC market as needed, to build upon the activitiesof BSC's Communications Specialist to promote.RTI's profile in the DC market. The CommunicationsSpecialist is not based in the DC area.
• Developa solid understanding of RTI's work in education, health,and governance and economic development, and RTI'sbroader institutional capabilities, and proactively represent RTIin these program areas.
• Manage IDG'sinstitutional memberships, and ensure sufficient presence at keyevents in Washington.
