• Lead a biomedical research team todevelop and implement OMICS molecular biology tools and to supportrunning research activities at BRC.
• Supportfaculty and students through participating in educational programstraining students and postdoctoralfellows.
• Participate in the design andexecution of collaborative research studies in biomedical researchfield.
• Promote collaborative andinterdisciplinary research in areas of priority for the Center(Stem cell research, Metabolic and infectiousdiseases).
• Develop and support researchcollaborations and networks linking the Center with the public andprivate sectors at the national, regional and internationallevels.
• Foster academic and interdisciplinaryresearch links with the relevant departments and centers at theUniversity through a variety of mechanisms including trainingworkshops, research seminars, input into the curriculum, mentorshipopportunities for graduate and undergraduatestudents.
• Promote and communicate the work ofthe Center to the public through a variety of community outreachactivities, including workshops, lectures publications,etc.
