Requirements:
- Education Required: Master
- Major: Educational Leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Master's degree in Elementary school administration or equivalent is required.
- Has a minimum of ten (10) years' experience as an elementary school Vice-Principal;
- IB experience is an asset
- International private schools experience
- Has the ability to adapt to new work environments;
- Demonstrates a willingness to make life adjustments to accomplish the schools' objectives
- Culturally sensitive;
- Is a team player;
- Demonstrates the ability to identify and develop leadership potential within the staff;
- Possesses strong conceptual skills and demonstrates the ability to develop and transfer them to staff;
- Is an enthusiastic visionary, encouraging, selfstarter with a high energy level;
- Has demonstrated success at various levels of development;
- Has led or participated in various organizations or groups;
- Competent in integrating technology into curriculum as instructional medium.

Job Description:
The Vice Principal is responsible for the daily operations of the school in absence of the Principal. He/She provides an environment for learning. He/She seeks and utilizes new and exciting teaching methods to build a strong foundation for future education. Work with principal to lead teachers, staff and community members in creating a collaborative learning community.
The Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle all duties of Principal in her/his absence
- Improve student achievement by nurturing excellent teaching and learning and building a safe and supportive student culture.
- Supervise students and staff.
- Support principal by working as a team, backingup principal's decision, sharing work and communicating effectively.
- Use data to inform decisions about instruction.
- Partner with principal to provide leadership across staff, students and community.
- Engage parents in student learning and site functioning.
- Develop and empower teams.
- Build trust to facilitate change.
- Plan strategically.
- Schedule and manage effectively.
- Manage personal and staff time and priorities.
- Build and maintain network of support outside the school.
- Assist in the development and upgrade of school policies.
