Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Ras Laffan for a Lifting/Rigging Supervisor.

The Lifting/Rigging Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all lifting and rigging activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards, and preparing and approving lift plans.

The Lifting/Rigging Supervisor will report to the Construction Manager and work closely with other construction professionals.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Lifting/Rigging Supervisor role in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of international and local industry lifting and rigging standards and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand lift plans, drawings, and other technical documentation
  • Proven experience in supervising and coordinating lifting operations with cranes, forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Skilled in risk assessment, inspection, testing, and maintenance of lifting equipment
  • Experience in working in industrial projects and knowledge of oil and gas industry are preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
