Department
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Primary purpose of job
Responsible for the overall operations and administration of Facility Services for end user departments and other third
parties located within Dukhan Operations Management Building and operational/support facilities within Jaleha Sector in
Dukhan Concession Area. This include planning, prioritizing and execution of daily operations under facility services such
as allocation of office space, shaded car park, provision of office furniture, equipment, cleaning, office waiter, office
beverages, office equipment maintenance, laundry, pest control and indoor plant maintenance services to all end user
departments in Dukhan fully complying to pertinent policies and procedures. Conducts maintenance inspections, initiation of
minor and major maintenance or refurbishment works for assets under the division. Administers various contracts under
the division. Initiates and effectively contributes in tendering process. Initiates the write-off of movable and fixed assets
under the division. Review and approves supporting documents for payments. Prepare technical specifications and initiates
the procurement of supplies/resources through purchase requisitions, call off orders, perform technical evaluations, initiates
and perform the assigned roles for Direct Orders/MWC. Monitors and controls the deployment of contractor manpower.
Reviews, improves and implements Facility Services procedure in his area of responsibility as per the requirement of IMS.
Liaise with end user departments and third parties in Dukhan with regard to the services/supplies and ensure that
services/supplies are provided as per pertinent standards/entitlements.
Participates in annual budget preparation and implementation of cost control measures within the division. Monitors budget
and expenditure status. Coordinates, Supervises and ensures the adherence of all the work that is carried out as per
QATARENERGY policy and procedures and in-line with IMS & HSE standards requirements.
Experience & Skills:
- 8 to 10 years' experience in a similar position, has adequate exposure to Corporation's Policy and Procedures related to
- Has thorough knowledge of Corporation's operational work sites and premises in Dukhan.
Education:
- Bachelor Degree (Fulltime) in Business Administration, Facilities Management or similar field, excellent knowledge of
