Pastry Commis Chef | Qatar | Coffee Shop and Roastery:
We are seeking extraordinary
PASTRY COMMIS CHEFS to join the team of this upmarket coffee shop and Roastery.

You will be responsible for crafting exquisite pastries and desserts that are not only visually stunning but also tantalize the taste buds.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Culinary degree or relevant certification with a specialized focus on advanced pastry arts.
  • Substantial experience in a pastry kitchen setting, preferably in a Commis Chef role or equivalent.
  • Proficient in advanced pastry techniques and methods.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of pastry quality and presentation

Responsibilities:


Advanced Pastry Preparation:


  • Execute the preparation of advanced pastry ingredients and components, following recipes and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various pastry techniques and methods.

Complex Baking and Assembly:


  • Take on responsibilities in the baking and assembly of intricate pastries and desserts.

Leadership in Cleanliness and Organization:


  • Lead by example in maintaining a clean and organized pastry workstation, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Supervise and assist in the cleaning and upkeep of pastry equipment.

Quality Control:


  • Lead in regular quality checks to maintain the consistency and excellence of pastry offerings.

Mentorship and Training:


  • Assist in the mentorship and training of junior pastry team members.
  • Share knowledge, techniques, and best practices to contribute to the team's growth.

Collaboration with Senior Pastry Chefs:


  • Work closely with senior pastry chefs to ensure the seamless execution of pastry production.
