POSITIONSUMMARY
Greet and escort guests to rooms.
Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leavingproperty. Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hoursof operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Identifyand explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key,mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundryservices). Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/ordesignated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assistingguests with loading/unloading luggage. Supply guests withdirections. Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus,limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advancetransportation request as needed. Communicate parking procedures toguests/visitors.
Follow all company policies andprocedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe workconditions to manager. Maintain awareness of undesirable persons onproperty premises. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are cleanand professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietaryinformation. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate andaddress guests' service needs, assist individuals withdisabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speakwith others using clear and professional language, and answertelephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintainpositive working relationships with others. Comply with qualityassurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verifyinformation in a variety of formats (e.g., small print).
