Ø To lead shifts when assigned by line manager, taking responsibility for delivering brand standards in, but not limited to cash management, opening the unit, preparing for the shift, closing the unit, orders, monitoring and delivering high standards of customer service, accepting deliveries.
Ø Dialing in espresso, latte art, various methods of brewingØ Expedite and serve delicious sweet and savory foods; this can include assembly, delivery and clearing of these treats / managing inventory
Ø Maintain work area, and daily maintenance of coffee/espresso equipment
Ø Implement shift protocols and train all baristas to ensure efficient, friendly service and high quality coffee
Ø Cultivate positive, proactive relationships with all coworkers
Ø Regularly taste coffee drinks made by you and other baristas, to maintain standards and develop palate
Ø Offer constructive feedback to team members to ensure consistency and quality of coffee preparation, professionalism, patron service hygiene & cleanliness
Ø Help design signature, and specialty coffee/drink preparations
Ø To perform the role of float where required.
Ø Train all new team members to barista level using appropriate training materials
Ø Take responsibility for checking the quality of the espresso by accurately measuring & recording the grind & dose
Ø To ensure all coffee equipment is in good working order and report any faults as required
Ø To assist in the monthly unit audit on brand standards
Ø To undertake daily health & safety and food safety checks, reporting and actioning any issues as required
Ø To deliver the highest levels of customer service in line with brand standards.
Ø To produce & serve all drinks to brand standards & recipes.
Ø Maintain stock levels/availability by replenishing display/fridges within company guidelines/planograms, rotating stock to ensure compliance with company health & safety guidelines.
Ø To sell & demonstrate product knowledge by advising the customer/answering queries & suggesting products to the customer as part of the ordering process.
Ø To operate the till in line with brand till operation & cash handling procedures.
Ø As part of the model day, to complete the daily walk round and rectify/notify areas of noncompliance.
Ø To complete all tasks required by the daily cleaning schedule.
Salary:
Up to QAR4,000.00 per month
