To uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Safety Officer to join our dynamic team.


Responsibilities:


Ensure Regulatory Compliance:

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and implement best practices to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.

Conduct Inspections:

  • Perform regular inspections of the kitchen facilities, equipment, and food preparation areas.
  • Identify and address potential health and safety hazards.

Implement Food Safety Protocols:

  • Develop and enforce robust food safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct training sessions for kitchen staff to promote awareness and adherence to food safety guidelines.

Hygiene Management:

  • Monitor personal hygiene practices of kitchen staff.
  • Implement and maintain sanitation and hygiene standards in accordance with industry regulations.

Incident Response:

  • Investigate and address any reported incidents related to food safety promptly.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of food safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
  • Generate regular reports for management on food safety performance and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Food and Safety Officer or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Relevant certifications in food safety and sanitation.
