Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie - Poultry Specialist to join our culinary team at Tick Restaurant in Doha.

The Chef de Partie will play a pivotal role in our kitchen, bringing their expertise in poultry preparation to the forefront and contributing to the creation of memorable dining experiences for our guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute a diverse range of poultry dishes, showcasing the unique flavors and culinary traditions that define Tick's signature style. Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new poultrycentric menu items and daily specials, infusing each creation with creativity and innovation. Lead by example in maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence, ensuring that all poultry dishes are prepared to perfection and presented with finesse. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and expertise in poultry preparation techniques and flavor combinations. Uphold strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling and storage of poultry products, to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment. Monitor inventory levels of poultry and related ingredients, assisting in procurement and ordering to ensure freshness and availability. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect among kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred. Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Line Cook specializing in poultry preparation, preferably in a highend or fine dining establishment. Expertise in a variety of poultry cooking techniques, including roasting, grilling, braising, and sautéing. Creative flair and culinary innovation, with a passion for experimenting with new ingredients, flavors, and presentation styles. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and mentor kitchen staff. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to culinary excellence in every dish. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced kitchen environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
