    Qualification:
    Bachelor'sdegree in engineering Discipline preferably Chemical / Process /Mechanical Engineering. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent ispreferable.
    Experience:

    • Minimumof 15 years' experience in design, construction,commissioning, and start-up till normal operations of oil &gas processing and production facilities (Onshore/Offshore),preferably with EPIC contracting companies of which a minimum TEN(10) years as Commissioning Coordinator/TeamLeader.
    • MANDATORY to have the followingexperience:
    • OPERATIONS READINESS Concept,Preparation and Delivery.
    • CMS (COMPLETIONSMANAGEMENT SYSTEM) Software andImplementation.
    • Projects'pre-commissioning, commissioning, PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Review),start up, stabilization, performance test till normal operations,Completions and Hand-overactivities.
    • Experience in Onshore downstreamOil & Gas facilities such as Gas Processing Plants, OilRefinery Plant and Gas Pipeline operations and maintenance is anadded advantage.
    • Excellent interpersonal,communication and leadership skills
    • Relevanttechnical expertise. Multi-discipline engineering exposure withtroubleshooting and problem-solvingskills.
    • Good IT and analytical skills with theability to work well underpressure.

    Primary Duties andResponsibilities:

    • Carry out Roles asCommissioning Team Leader.
    • Develop ProjectOperations Readiness Plan (ORP) for both FEED and EPIC, obtainapproval from Asset Holder and QP Project Team and ensurecompleteness of its deliverables.
    • DevelopCommissioning Strategy, overall Commissioning Plan and obtainapproval in consultation with Asset Holder and coordination with QPProject Team.
    • Support Project Team in managingthe execution of engineering design, construction, andpre-commissioning activities with due consideration to QP corevalues, standards, specifications, regulations, and industry bestpractices.
    • Carry out Project DocumentationReview, Design Deliverables Review and Project Execution PlanReview.
    • Review, approve and monitor the variousCommissioning tasks to be performed by the contractor: workbreakdown structure, priorities, resources, schedule,etc.
    • Review and facilitate approval of projectspecific commissioning plan and procedures including hand over andPSSR checklists.
    • Lead VOR Disciplines Engineersand Disciplines Technicians in coordination with QP Project Teamand Contractors on all pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up,hand-over and completions activities
    • Supervisethe reporting of commissioning execution to ensure that alltechnical and contractual information is properly recorded,collected and available for inspection/reference as required byregulations and QPpolicies/procedures.
    • Coordinate, liaise andfollow up with all relevant stakeholders to resolve complex siteissues and review/approve Technical and/or Site Query for requiredconcern.
    • Participate proactively duringsimultaneous operations & construction activities (in liveplants) by understanding the end user'sconstraints/concerns to minimize implications on project scheduleand cost. This includes (but not limited to) SIMOPS ActivitiesAssessment & Mitigation, PTW Coordination, Temporary SiteFacilities Setup, etc.
    • Participates andcontributes in Qatari developmentprograms.
