  • Deployment and operation of the container infrastructure based on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes on premise.
  • Installing and manage the container platform ecosystem (Master / Worker Nodes).
  • Mange Entire Openshift components like pods, network, storage and security components with standard hardening guidelines
  • Configure and administration of OpenShift and Kubernetes Clusters.
  • Manage users, Policies and control access on resources.
  • Observability, Monitoring and maintaining the platform, including the containers and clusters.
  • Maintain, configure and monitor containers using Infrastructure as Code principles in Development, Test, and Live environments
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise on the platform.
  • Experience with Kubernetes management, backup and recovery, and deployment tools (i.e., Kasten, Portworx, ArgoCD, etc.)
  • CSI/ ODF Setup and Implementation.
  • Implementing security and compliance measures for the platform to meet industry standards like PCI-DSS etc.
  • Experience in managing a managed Kubernetes solution like Red hat Open shift, Google Anthos, SUSE Rancher etc.
  • Expert in Scripting python, YAML, shell etc.
  • Experience in Service mesh, L3/4/7 Proxy, container technologies, and understanding of Load Balancing technologies (Nginx, HAproxy etc.) Experience in working on containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
  • Contributes to and supports the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy by Identifying ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
  • Assist in change management of container platform for new versions of OpenShift, Hotfixes, system admin tasks, etc.
  • Identification and management of action plans aiming to optimize consumption, cost, evolution of clusters and the environment
  • Troubleshoot and do RCA for cluster related issues. Assist development team as necessary to resolve issues related.
  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills, as they will be working with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the platform is operating effectively.
  • Identify and recommend emerging technologies as they relate to team objectives
  • Participate in DR exercises
  • Engage in 24/7 Production support as part of an oncall support team (rotation), available to support on planned or unplanned activities outside of normal office hours
  • Create documentation to ensure effective operations/support of the platform

Required Qualifications:


  • BS degree in Computer Science. Similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator
  • Certified Redhat Openshift Administrator
  • Optional Qualification:
  • Any IT/Cloud Architect Certification

Required Experience:


  • Minimum 6 years of proven work experience as a Linux Engineer/Administrator.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience on Containerization technologies like Openshift, Kubernetes.
  • Minimum 4 years of proven work experience of largescale Spring Boot/Java projects, experience with REST/GRPC, RESTful API.
