• Research experience to PhD level(or equivalent) in one or more disciplines that fall within thefields of biogeochemistry, ideally including ocean, freshwater orsoil biogeochemistry or atmospheric chemistry. However, strongcandidates from all areas of the Earth and environmental scienceswill be considered.
• Editorial experience,postdoctoral experience and broad training will be anadvantage.
• A passion for science and a desireto learn more. You must be able to demonstrate the breadth of yourinterest in scientific research, both within and beyond yourspeciality.
• The ability to read and assess thenovelty, context and implications of research submitted to thejournal from different disciplines.
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English(written and spoken).
