Duties & Responsibilities

Contributes in building and enhancing an innovative College ofMedicine for the state of Qatar.
Strong commitment toteaching, with proficiency in teaching, in the relevant field formedical students.
Contributes to the enhancement anddevelopment of other curricular activities.
Promotescollaborative and interdisciplinary research in areas of priorityfor the medical college.
Fosters a supportive andmentoring environment for students.
Fosters academic andinterdisciplinary research links with the relevant departments andcenters at the University, being a member of one of the 3 researchdivisions: center for translational molecular medicine, publichealth and medical education.
Promotes and communicatesthe work of the College to the public through a variety ofcommunity outreach activities, including workshops, lectures,publications, conferences, secondary school visits etc.
Participates in the formulation and implementation of theCollege's strategic plan and mission in alignment withthe strategic plan and vision and mission of the University.
Other duties as assigned
