• Supports the research professorsand Gulf Studies Center Director in all aspects of research.
• Collects data from various sources includingthe Internet, libraries, government sources, and personal contacts;reads sources for relevancy to research themes; assemblesdocuments, and reports.
• Updates and checksexisting data and footnotes; provides fact checking, editing, andproofreading of publications.
• Compilesbibliographies and chronologies; writes briefing memos; preparesnotes on meetings and conferences; creates and maintainsspreadsheets and databases.
• Provide assistancein drafting of books, papers, opinion pieces, and blog posts.
• Provide assistance with proofreading andediting publications by fellows and research assistant professorsand the Center Director.
• Assists in thecompilation of research publications as well as Center briefs andpublications.
