- Ensure precise color matching and consistency in paint batches.
- Operate basic equipment such as stirrers, mixers, scales, spectrophotometers, light booths, and film thickness gauges.
- Understand and maintain proper storage limits for paint and other mixing materials.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure the mixed paint meets color, consistency, and performance standards.
- Test mixed paint for durability, adhesion, and other properties.
- Hand over to customers the correct mixing of color matching with samples, ensuring there are no failures in accuracy.
- Perform color shading tasks accurately to meet customer and project requirements.
- Ensure that the work area is safe from hazards and adheres to safety protocols at all times.
- Observe and follow safety guidelines, contributing to a healthy and safe working environment.
- Follow all showroom processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies consistently.
- Perform other activities, tasks, or projects as assigned by the manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in paint technology is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a paint mixing or related technical role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of color science, paint mixing, and equipment operation.
