SUMMARYThe contractor shall provideengineering support for Enterprise networks, systems andinfrastructure for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at AlUdeid Air Base in Qatar.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerformadvanced technical support and O&M support activities andcoordinate maintenance/restoration efforts and priorities.
Serve asnetworks/systems engineering subject matter expert forcommunications and IT installation, upgrade, integration, removaland projects.
Analyze and translate operational requirements intothe communications and IT hardware/software, infrastructure andservice solutions designed to meet those needs.
Develop and providedetailed engineering solutions and cost estimates.
Perform andfacilitate network and systems architecture planning, design,implementation, integration, testing and acceptance supportactivities.

Conduct technical feasibility analyses, engineeringstudies, and performance testing and measurement onnetworks/systems in order to identify performance vulnerabilitiesand weaknesses; and report findings to the government.

Recommendnetwork/system hardware and software solutions and upgrades topromote efficient and effective performance.
Facilitate experiment,research and development, modeling and simulation projects, asrequired.
Develop and submit associated network/systems engineeringdocumentation, studies, plans, diagrams, drawings and reports, asrequired by the government.
Evaluate organizational engineeringprocesses and workflows; and provide recommendations for continuousprocess improvement.

Analyze overall health, operational capabilityand capacity of infrastructure and services; and recommend coursesof action to address any deficiencies or shortfalls.

Develop andmaintain Enterprise network/systems/server configuration andconnectivity drawings, diagrams, documentation and plans.
Developand submit an Enterprise Systems Engineering Monthly StatusReport.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired CertificationsDoD IAT Level IICertification (or higher).Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalentcertification.

Education, Background, and Years of ExperienceMasterof Computer Science or related area and 4+ years of IT DomainKnowledge or a bachelor s degree in computer science or relatedarea and 8+ years of IT Domain Knowledge.
