    Keyresponsibilities:


    • To be responsiblefor the teaching, and subsequent progress, of all students studyingAcademic Music from KS2 to A level ( orequivalent)


    • To be familiar with theMusicianship syllabuses, guidelines and regulations of QMA internalexams and ABRSM practical exams


    • Toprepare schemes of work, assist in curriculum development incollaboration with the Head of Western Music Department, and beresponsible for all aspects of the management of the Musicianshipcurriculum area.


    • To be a fullyintegrated member of ACCO (QMA's Academic Committee), toattend and contribute to meetings, prepare departmental reports oninternal examination performance, and development plans whichcontribute to QMA's Strategic DevelopmentPlan.


    • To lead the Musicianshipteaching faculty team and to attend all mandatory training (e.g.Child Protection and Safeguarding) and Professional LearningDays
