Lead and manage the accounting department.

  • Develop and implement all accounting, treasury, AP and AR practices, to ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, agreements, laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial and management reports in support of auditing, managerial decision making and shareholders communication.
  • Work closely with the Chair of the Board and the CEO
  • Responsible for drafting resolutions, minutes of meetings and assuring compliance with corporate governance.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
  • Preferably with professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong trackrecord in the preparation of financial records and reports for a large, multinational organisation with a complex ownership structure
  • 12 + years of experience of which 7+ years are management roles.
  • Experience in Energy, Oil and Gas industry would be preferred.

Salary:
QAR1.00 per month

  • Bachelor's (required)

Experience:

Finance Management: 10 years (required)
Board Secretary: 3 years (required)

  • Oil & Gas industry: 2 years (preferred)

Language:


  • Native Arabic (required)
  • Excellent English (required)

License/Certification:

  • Qatar Citizen ID (Not For Expat) (required)
