• Assists business developmentactivities. Supports proposals by developing the disciplineexecution strategy, scope, resource loading, estimating costs,writing proposal content, and presenting tocustomers.
• Interfaces effectively with otherdisciplines. Works to resolve inter-discipline, vendor, andcustomer issues.
• Ensures Mechanical technicalwork and team activities meet industry and jurisdictional standardsand best practices, health, safety, environmental, and securityrequirements.
• Ensures team member adherence togenerally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatoryrequirements, and customerspecifications.
• Supports standardization andcontinuous improvement.
• Interfaces withthird-party technology suppliers andcontractors
• Acting as the Lead MechanicalEngineer, participates in project execution strategy and planning.Knows the project and owns the discipline scope/cost/timerequirements, makes certain the team meets expectations, andcoordinates with other disciplines to ensure projectsuccess.
