About our client
Our client is a prestigious investment manager with a strong track record.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate with experience in equity research to join their growing financial services investment team based in Doha.


What the job involves


The role will focus on supporting direct public equity transactions within the banking sector, whilst also gaining exposure to insurance and fintech sectors, across all geographies.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful person will receive a lot of responsibility from the outset

  • Be involved in all aspects of the transaction process, including sourcing, financial analysis, leading due diligence and exits
  • Provide clear views on companies and overall sectors based on fundamental research
  • You will also gain some exposure to the portfolio companies

Who we are looking for

  • Strong academic record, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a toptier institution
  • Relevant, equity research experience as either a generalist or financial services specialist
  • Preference for buyside experience
  • Preference for professional accreditation (e.g. CFA) or chartered accounting qualification
