Title

SR. OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Primary Purpose of Job

Supervise day to day operation of gas processing plants, storage/loading/utilities and associated gas/liquid pipelines; including directing operating personnel in optimization of unit throughput, and assigning maintenance priorities.

As a team member, will also assist in other Maintenance, Engineering and HSE related activities.

Education

B.Sc. or Diploma/Degree preferably in Chemical Engineering. A minimum of 10 years operations experience in Hydrocarbon Processing Industry including at least 3 in a Supervisory position.

Experience & Skills

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills to include knowledge of Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.

Frequent contact at own or higher level in other Departments to provide information, obtain assistance and discuss problems.

Periodic contacts with Dukhan (Production), Offshore PS-1 and NF Alpha for plant feed stock and operating parameters (quality and quantity).

Refinery for Butane and NF Condensate supply, QAPCO, Q-Chem for Ethane rich gas delivery, QAFAC for butane supply and pentane receipts, MIC (Environment), Doha ( Engineering, during project site works ,Quality Assurance, Safety & environment), Ras Laffan (Qatargas), TD, Terminal Operation for gas deliveries, Tanker Captains to exchange information and obtain agreement to change/vary conditions to meet loading and export requirements.
