As Manager IMS Sales you will lead and manageInternal Media Services (IMS) by providing strategic leadershipdirection and management of advertising operations thoughmaintaining the highest international standards of advertising atHIA and across Qatar Airways group media display assets and ofcustomer service to advertisers to ensure that the sales targetsare achieved.

Achieve sales targets through existing and newbusiness ensure outstanding end to end client service at InternalMedia Services (IMS).

Deliver annual advertising budget forecastsfrom sales in Qatar and the Middle East and in Internationalmarkets and with significant direct advertisers directing andsupported by the IMS sales operations and administrative staff.

Travel internationally to promote activities of the business forgestrong client relationships and drive new business throughproactive sales social and physical networking at relevant industryconferences and events.

Key Accountabilities include but are notlimited to:

Maintain detailed knowledge of new developments withinglobal airport advertising markets and advise team on futureprocurement and capital expenditure requirements.

Travelinternationally to promote activities of the business and whereappropriate to represent HIA media sales at relevant industryconferences.

Interface directly with key external suppliersincluding marketing support companies together with senior leveldepartment heads within the wider operation including OperationsFinance and Legal departments to constantly improve the mediaestate and offer to advertisers and grow profitability of ad salesto the HIA and Qatar Airways group.

Introduce and maintaininternational procedures and standards of sales and salesstrategies to achieve sales target.

Work closely with airportauthority HIA and QR Group teams to identify new media advertisingchannels including digital and static displays to grow the companyportfolio.

Work with worldclass consultants to plan recommend toendorse the allocation of the new advertising sites within all theConcourses to facilitate the HIA advertising expansion project.

Manage the site production work from the vendors plan timelines andmanage budgets with project plans to ensure projects are deliveredon time and on budget.

Set and agree business plans for current andfuture financial years including sales targets and overhead coststo ensure target achievement.

Set and agree budgets for allinternal and external cost centers including (but not limited to)internal recharges to other QR resources used salaries andincentive schemes and external marketing resources.

Achievetargeted advertising sales from Qatar Middle East and internationalmarkets in line with defined IMS financial budget.

Direct lead andmanage Sales and operations team regarding initiatives andpresentations to large Qatar Middle East and international agenciesand advertisers to achieve sales and operational targets.

Monitorthe site production work from the vendors on daytoday ad campaignbasis to ensure production activities are as per agreed budgettimeline quality etc.

Plan and organize personal sales strategy inorder to maximize the return on time investment. Identify andassist with the development of new media opportunities and revenuestreams e.g. inhouse production innovation and design to delivernew revenue streams to IMS.

Manage liaise and contract withexternal resources to bring in external expertise as required toenhance the media estate and deliver incremental revenues.

Ensureall costs are managed within budgets by reviewing quarterlycost/sales reports to ensure that yearend profit targets areachieved.

QualificationsAboutyouThe successful candidate will have the following qualificationsand skills:

High School / Vocational Qualification / Diploma plusminimum 9 years of relevant jobrelated experience; or BachelorDegree or equivalent plus minimum 8 years of relevant jobrelatedexperience Skills and experience:Experience in Airport / OutofHome(OOH) media development along with relevant experience in businessdevelopment in Airport Advertising industry in Middle East andother international markets.

Experience in servicing and meetinghigh demand of media advertising clients. Proven track record ofachieving highly ambitious media sales target of multimilliondollars per annum. Established strong relationship and rapport withnetwork of media agencies in Qatar and GCC markets and/orInternational markets.
