• Assist Team Leader and SeniorResident Engineer (SRE) in reviewing all structural concrete/pavement/ grout/ material/ geotechnical aspects of the designs(especially those that will effectively protect the integrity oftendons), ensure that they meet technical and safety standards, andrecommend modifications as necessary.
• AssistSRE in inspecting and monitoring the setting up of theContractor's laboratory, test procedures, crushingactivities, concrete/ pavement mix designs,etc.
• Assist SRE in reviewingContractor's material plan, review and inspectestablishment of production plants, and test run operation andcalibration of all equipment and plants.
• ReviewContractor's Quality Assurance and testing plan for theconstruction and defects liability phases to effectively monitorand report on the quality of works in accordance with TechnicalSpecification.
• Review information on soils andmaterials that the Contractor intends to incorporate in the Worksand provide recommendation on their approval/rejection.
• Provide on-the-job training and/orclassroom training/ workshops asappropriate.
• Assist in preparation, review andtimely submission of all relevantdeliverables.
