About the role


Responsible for establishing and implementing a system control in place related to F&B Sales and Cost, supervising the receiving and store section, assisting F&B Department in overall pricing, food and beverage testing and menu planning, preparation of various reports.

In this position, the responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Supervises store activity including ordering, receiving, delivering stock to and from outlet, ensuring work flow are followed as per standard procedure.
  • Conduct monthly physical inventory, produce monthly outlet inventory report for adjustments.
  • Consolidate monthly inventory/costing report, send to all outlets for verification and justification if required, ensuring all discrepancy are cleared and fixed timely.
  • Conduct inventory spot check in all F&B outlets comparing against the par stock level, communicate any discrepancies observed to supervisor/duty manager for necessary actions to ensure full compliance.
  • Update POS system for any revision in business, such as adding new item or deleting old item with the approval of Executive Head Chef, coordinate with IT for any issues to ensure POS system are functioning smoothly to support the business requirement.
  • Review cost and selling price of all items, by conducting comparison report and present it to management for approval on regular basis.
  • Liaise with purchasing department on any supply or pricing concerns for necessary actions.
  • Prepare and analyse conversion unit of measure in the system to ensure costing are updated as per operational target and maintained accurately.
  • Consolidate and send daily/monthly F&B cost report to F&B Management, providing complete reconciliation report, making necessary adjustment.
  • Prepare costing and selling price for combo deals and any other F&B promotion activities in all outlets, partner with operational leaders to achieve sales budget with minimum cost.
  • Prepare and consolidate operating expense report related to disposables items, cleaning material and kitchen paper supply to ensure all controllable expenses are managed effectively.

Qualifications


About you

Qualifications:


Without a degree:
High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience

With a degree:
Bachelor Degree or Equivalent with minimum of 3 years of job
- related experience

  • HACCP Experience
Preferred

  • Diploma in Financial Accounting or equivalent

Previous Experience:

Essentia:

  • Specialist minimum 5 years of jobrelated experience required
  • Has worked in fast paced multi units environments with similar aspirations to that of QDF
  • Experienced in HACCP and quality assurance implementation or Related Training

Job Specific Skills:

  • Inventory control and distribution experience is required, preferably within Hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, is required.
  • Planning and time management skills to effectively execute multiple tasks and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Experience in Stock Control Procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of Inventory Module of the Accounting software.
  • Ability to react to challenges and operational incidents quickly and efficiently and resolving.
  • Financially Astute and Competent.
  • Understanding of food preparation, presentation and service.
  • Methodical and Practice Solution Solver.
