Job description
Senior Structural Engineer
Location:
Doha
- Qatar
Requirements:
- Ability to manage a team of structural engineers.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects
- Structural Analysis & Design
- Full Knowledge in design software Etabs, SAFE, SAP, STAAD Pro, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Prokon,etc.
- Full Knowledge of international codes such as British Standards, American Standards, Eurocode Code, UBC Code, ASCE,..etc.) and QCS.
- Full experience in the design of medium to large scale projects such as towers/highrise/midrise buildings, commercial and industrial projects, etc.
- Experienced in the preparation of detailed structural analysis and design calculation reports of reinforced concrete and steel structures from concept to IFC (issued for construction).
- Preparation of structural specifications & BOQs.
- Preparation / Review of concrete shop drawings for both GA and reinforcement.
- Preparation/review steel elements for the preparation of detailed erection and fabrication drawings
- Design of foundations including piles.
- BSc in Civil Engineering and MMUP Registration.
- Master or Ph.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a design consultancy environment.
- Structural design of precast elements (an advantage)
- Structural posttension design (an advantage)
- AutoCAD Structural Detailing (an advantage).
- Autodesk Revit Structure (an advantage)
- BIM Application (an advantage)
- Tekla (an advantage)
- Office Applications: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
- NOC Required
