Duties and Expectations:

  • Develop responsive, functional and appealing website front ends based on usability
  • Provide maintenance and enhancements on website front end
  • Use a combination of markup languages like html to write web pages
  • Create quality mockups, prototypes and UI designs on tight timelines
  • Assist backend developers with coding and troubleshooting
  • Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
  • Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interface
  • Stay uptodate on emerging technologies
  • Follow usability best practices

Professional experience and skills:

  • Solid understanding of layout aesthetics and a rigor for programming frontend web
  • Hands on experience of CSS, HTML, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Knowledge of Bootstrap framework
  • An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some backend knowledge, is important
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both orally and in writing
  • Understanding of at least one CMS frameworks like wordpress, Cofundry, Drupal etc.
  • Understanding of at least one client side frameworks like angular, angular JS, react, knockout JS etc.
  • Some understanding of server side programming like php, java, nodeJs, python, c#, ruby, etc.
  • Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL DB and ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Ability to organize, multi task and prioritize the work

Ability to Commute:

  • Doha (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Doha: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (required)
