    Job Summary

    The Senior Sales Manager oversees and implements all sales activities for a specific area of responsibility or market segment(s), including developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts and implementation of sales strategies. Responsible for targeting new commercial, corporate and meetings and events business. Additionally, staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with Company vision and values.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Develop sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of Company sales goals and profitability
    • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
    • Identify opportunities and grow new business from a variety of large multi national, local and regional organizations to ensure a diverse complimentary mix of events.
    • Manage and develop the sales team setting objectives to achieve pre-set targets identified from the sales plan.
    • Identify valuable emerging markets and continuously widening the leads pipeline.
    • Manage the Sales Account Manager to ensure that all opportunities are reacted to, proactively targeted and relationship managed in a timely manner.
    • Develop an annual sales strategy, taking into account market trends and the business environment and review this on a quarterly basis reporting on any findings.
    • Provide accurate forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace.
    • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
    • Ensure contracts are accurately raised and reflect the proposal made and, working with the Contracts Executive, ensure they are signed and returned.
    • Develop a robust CRM process to ensure that key client relationships are developed on an on-going consistent basis and that this information is recorded and reported each month.
    • Maximize all sales opportunities through research of accounts and upselling Techniques
    • Ensure strict adherence to business conduct guidelines and other business processes throughout the organization
    • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
    Job Knowledge & Skills

    Extensive industry knowledge, understanding market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to formulate effective sales strategies.

    Leadership skills are paramount, enabling them to inspire and guide sales teams, foster a collaborative environment, and drive performance toward achieving ambitious targets.

    Strategic planning and execution abilities allow Senior Sales Managers to develop comprehensive sales plans, allocate resources effectively, and adapt strategies to meet evolving market demands.

    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills facilitate successful relationship building with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, enhancing collaboration and driving business growth.

    Analytical acumen empowers Senior Sales Managers to interpret sales data, identify opportunities for optimization, and make informed decisions to maximize revenue generation and market penetration.

    ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

    Job Experience

    Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
