- Undertakedetailedmaintenance, inspection and supervision activities on theMechanicalcomponents in the AGE bay. Assuring work carried out hasbeen completed inaccordance with the SOW / Work package using therelevant approved technicalinformation. Resolving faults andmaintenance issues, including an awareness ofconfigurationmanagement
- Undertakeand complete tasked maintenance& diagnostic activities of Mechanicalcomponents in the AGEbay which may include, as appropriate, componentremovals,inspections, repairs, modifications, faultrectifications,replacements and/or functional/system test.
- Maintainpersonal & teams taskauthorisation for working on AGE in accordance with regulatoryrequirements
- Ensure staff are sufficiently competent andapproved for themaintenance tasks allocated to them. Maintainpersonal & teams taskauthorisation for working oncomponents in accordance with AMC requirements
- Undertakemechanical support tasks within the AGE bay facility whichare required tomaintain compliance with the MOE and regulatoryprocedures (e.g. oversight checks,control of tooling / testequipment etc.)
- Undertakefault evaluation and raise adhoc work cards for found faults duringmaintenance
- Responsible for meeting agreed delivery targets in the shorttomedium term through the supervision of others. Progress reportingagainstdelivery targets to management.
- LogBooksmaintained as appropriate within your trade and skillsboundaries.
- Provides guidance and leadership to the team.
- Ensure timely Supervision of allmaintenanceactivities including Technical Instructions related toMechanical AircraftGround EquipmentKey Accountabilities
- Performance indicators Ensure the effectivemanagement of Regulatoryactivities by setting delivery targets, monitoringprogress anddeveloping performance improvement programmes.
- Procedure/standardsComply with the regulatory framework,its associated procedures andstandards and any other company procedures andstandards, asapplicable. Identify and propose changes, as required
- Safety Management System Promote theapplication of human factors,error management, risk management and safetyassurance within thePart 145 team, together with the proactive analysis,mitigation andmanagement of hazards
- Completion of Activities - EnsureallPart 145 activities are appropriately documented andairworthiness records aremaintained on relevant systems (IT / paperbased). Ensure all Part 145activities are performed by suitablyqualified, experienced and authorisedpersonnel. Provide support andguidance to the team
- Management System Assurance Ensuremaintenance activitiesare compliant with the Governance andAssurance framework, including supportingProcess confirmations andindependent assurance audits. Support the response toaudit findingsin a timely and appropriate manner and provide informationtosupport the relevant reviews. Support the implementation ofidentifiedimprovements to overcome any non-compliance and monitoreffectiveness
- Statutory/Regulatory & Legislativerequirements Ableto demonstrate an appropriate level ofunderstanding and application of therelevant continuingairworthinessregulatory framework. Support the implementation ofany regulatory drivenchanges into the maintenance activities.
- Contractual Requirements Complywith all applicablecontractual requirements.
- Requires a minimumof 2 years working at Supervisor levelprior to undertaking thisrole.
- Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship,ideally inAeronautical Engineering or Military equivalentapprenticeship /qualifications. Academic qualification for thisrole is a minimum of City &Guilds 2675 or 2661 inAeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent
- Experienced and competent leader at this level.
- Demonstrating breadth of experience, currency & recencycapturingskills, knowledge and authorities
- Practicalexperience and expertise in the application of aviationsafetystandards and safe operating practices.
- A comprehensiveknowledge of Expositions, Functionally MandatedProcedures andManagement training.
