    SAE Institute is looking for a passionateand qualified 2D animation lecturer to join their creative academicThe purpose of this role is to teach frame-by-frame and cut-out 2Danimation and inspire young minds at our Rosebank campus in



    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    Execute thenormal day-to-day demands of facilitation in accordance with thelearning outcomes as set for the SAE programme, with a focus onpractical application, theoretical frameworks, workflow and

    Mentor students,conduct consultations and facilitate learning

    Researchrelevant content in order to develop learning material and lesson

    Evaluation,moderation, invigilation and assessment of

    Keep accuraterecords of

    Adhere to SAEpolicies and

    Other relatedtasks as assigned by the

    Experience,Education andCompetency:

    MinimumNQF Level 8 qualification (BA Honours) in relevantfield

    Experience inthe field of 2D animation of a minimum of 2 years

    Experience inclassroom management and workshop facilitation skills in anacademic or training environment of a minimum of 2 years

    Demonstrateknowledge and experience in 2D tradigital animation (hand-drawn,frame-by-frame) and relevant software (preferably Adobe softwaresuite, particularly Photoshop and possibly Adobe Animate (orsimilar 2D animationsoftware)

    Demonstrateknowledge and experience in 2D cut-out animation and relevantsoftware (preferably Toonboom Harmony orsimilar)

    Skills in eitherstoryboarding, 2D asset creation/concept art (for games) or motiongraphics is an additional

    Must have a bodyof work that demonstrates competency in 2D

    • Possesscommunication, interpersonal skills, administration skills, beorganised and possess good time management;

    Collaborativeand willing to work with fellow lecturers and the HOD to support
