Our Client, an EPC Contractor in Qatar who is currently working in Oil & Gas project and doing maintenance, revamp, shutdowns and fabrication is seeking to hire a Planning & Project Controls Manager who will be responsible for developing and leading a team of proactive project control personnel; and ensure QCon gets a competitive advantage through optimum project performance by timely cost forecasts, effective progress measurement, accurate and detailed information about project status, analysis and recommendations and feedback.

Manage the planning and cost control services to support efficient project execution and report all aspects of project status to project managers and Home office management.


The role will report to the General Manager in the Head Office and will manage a team of Planning and Cost Control Engineers and Manpower Coordinator.


Job Requirements:


  • Engineering Degree.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience Planning/Scheduling in the oil and gas industry, and a minimum of 5 years experience in managing a Planning/Scheduling department.
  • Strong correspondence capability.
  • Hands on experience in Project Planning packages like Primavera.

Salary:
QAR23, QAR28,000.00 per month

  • Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (required)

Experience:

- planning/scheduling: 10 years (required)

  • Oil & Gas: 10 years (required)
