• Respond and attend to guest repairrequests.
• Communicate with guests/customers toresolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventivemaintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment,including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visuallyinspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Carryequipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate allshut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs forbuildings. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts andsupplies as needed.
• Communicate eachday's activities and problems that occur to the othershifts using approved communication programs andstandards.
• Display basic knowledge or abilityto acquire knowledge in the following categories: air conditioningand refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing,pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finishskills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/orgeneral building.
